Sage & Hollow provides bespoke will-drafting services. These services are tailored to each client’s individual circumstances and legal requirements, meaning they fall under the custom-made goods and services exemption in the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This means that once we begin work on your will, you will no longer have the right to cancel and receive a refund, even if you are within the 14-day cooling-off period.

If you change your mind before we start work, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund.

Your right to cancel before work begins

If you wish to cancel your order, please email us at Enquiries@SageandHollow.co.uk within 14 days of purchase and before we have started any drafting work.

If work has not yet begun, your payment will be refunded in full to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving your request.

Refunds once work has started

Once drafting has begun, refunds are not available. This is because:

• The service is personalised to you and cannot be resold.
• You have provided your agreement for us to begin work immediately (or on a specified date), waiving your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

If we cannot complete your order

If, for any reason, we are unable to complete your will (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances on our side), we will refund any portion of the fee for work not carried out.

Physical delivery

If you choose to receive a posted hard copy of your completed will in addition to the digital copy, standard UK postage rates will apply and additional fees apply.
Delivery times will depend on postal services and are outside of our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or other carriers.

How to request a cancellation (before work begins)

To request a cancellation before work begins, please email Enquiries@SageandHollow.co.uk with:

• Your name
• Date of purchase
• Order reference number
• Statement that you wish to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations
